JUNIOR HIGH MINISTRIES

6th through 8th Grade

Change is the word for junior highers. They are going through a metamorphosis from childhood to adolescence and encountering many new challenges. The goal of our ministry is to help junior highers with a solid foundation of knowledge, friendships, and a right relationship with God so that they will be headed in the right direction toward high school.

Junior High Fellowship

The Junior High Fellowship meets every Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at church. Please check out some pictures from our activities.

Our Junior High Fellowship aims at helping Junior Highers grow and mature through a community of peers led by adult counselors. Our Junior Highers have fun with games, outings, socials, and ministry projects. More importantly, Junior Highers build lasting friendships and are given relevant teachings on topics for their lives. Our greatest strength is our adult counselors who actively disciple and mentor the students. Outreach is also a vital component of our Junior High Fellowship's philosophy. We want our Junior Highers to have a heart for the lost and needy.

Junior High Sunday School Classes

CBC offers a Junior High Sunday School class at 9:00 a.m. before the English Worship Service. Our aim in the Junior High Class is to give a balanced set of teachings on
1) the Bible
2) practical junior high appropriate Christian living subjects
3) the basic doctrines of Christianity.

The goal of our junior high class, as with all our teaching ministries, is to teach them to value and obey God's commandments for their lives.
